Borestone Mountain A challenging but worthwhile climb to the summit of Borestone Mountain overlooking Lake Onawa. Allow 3 - 4 hours for this 4 mile roundtrip climb. The path can be rocky and treacherous at the top and caution should be used. The mountain was once owned and lived on by R.T. Moore. He donated it to the Audubon Society upon his death. The check station is located halfway up the mountain and offers interesting exhibits and a fee is charged for final summit access.

Moxie
Falls
This is a very easy one mile walk into one of Maine's prettiest waterfalls. The trailhead is located on Indian Pond Road, near West Forks. Allow about one hour, no charge and the walk is level until the descent at the falls.

| Onawa Lake
Trestle
A short walk along the train tracks in Onawa brings you to the trestle for a commanding view of the lake, the dam and the mountains. Wear comfortable shoes as you are walking along the train tracks and they can be rocky and greasy. Be careful for oncoming trains and move quickly to the side. If on the trestle, there are safety cutouts. |

B-52 Bomber Crash Site Not really a hike, but more like a drive on dirt roads and a short walk. You will drive about 8 miles on a dirt road, accessed from the Lily Bay Road from Greenville. The trails lead you to a large site with wreckage from the 1963 crash of a B-52 bomber doing training maneuvers during a January blizzard.

| Little
Wilson Falls and Big Wilson Cliffs
This hike is predominately level, however can be tricky due to tree roots, rocks and incline along the river. The falls water level can vary greatly and extreme care should be taken at high levels. The trek to the cliffs takes about 45 minutes one way, but you are rewarded with sheer walls of slate and a waterfall. The trail follows the Wilson stream and has many picturesque stone falls enroute.
